If PSTN does not send ANI, then the gateway will use the destination pattern of the incoming dial peer as the ANI. The destination pattern needs to be a specific match like 911. It will not be used if there are any wild cards, like 9..

108 days until the lab exam - now that payment is due 90 days prior to the exam!  I think this is a great policy, but it is still a little nerve racking.  I guess that gives me 17 days now to make up my mind – no waiting until after Narbik’s bootcamp.

The long rumored Security CCIE Lab changes have finally been officially announced by Cisco.  The new version 3 hardware/software and blueprint will be implemented in mid-April 2009.  The good news is that there are not going to be any real changes to the hardware.  The new hardware and software is listed below:
